diy faucet extender

diy faucet extender

I was always frustrated getting Jasper to wash his hands. It’s not that he wouldn’t do it, it’s just hard when you have to try and hold a toddler up to the sink. Yesterday I did a little MacGyvering and crafted this to extend the bathroom faucet. Now when he stands on his step stool his little arms get to the water. Makes it easier for him and me. Not bad for a take-home cup from Olive Garden. I just cut the bottom out, punched two holes on the side and used rubber-bands around the faucet. Maybe I’ll paint it…you know, class it up a bit.

Ummm, you should make a bunch of those and sell them on Etsy. Genius!

Ha, this is so clever! I deal with the same pain in the butt of lifting my son to reach the sink too & never thought to do this! I agree… you should make/sell/patent the idea!

  3. Ah, brilliant! Kiddo has so many of these cups… I’ll have to try this! Pinning and sharing on my FB.
Btw, I hate squirrels too, ugh, little bushy tailed rat-wanna-be!
