Last year we had a monk and set the bar kind of high for creative costumes. This year Jasper was a tornado. We joke that every day he’s a tornado so it was pretty fitting. I spray painted a white lampshade and wrapped it with yarn. Josh removed all of the hardware for me and I hot glued fabric as suspenders.
I continued the yarn around the pants and hot glued it to hold it. One of Jasper’s cows and trucks got sucked into the tornado, along with some leaves. The finishing touch was Jasper’s hair sprayed up to look windblown. We only took him to our neighbor’s house and the grandparents but it was a hit. Can I come up with another creative idea for next year?

Oh. My. Goodness. KIMBERLY! This put the biggest smile on my face this morning. I LOVE IT!!! It was so worth the surprise and suspense. You are a creative genius and your kid is freakin’ awesome, per usual.
Very Cute!
Coolest costume ever. So impressed with your creativity!
