For Halloween, Jasper was a monk. I had the idea months ago and thought it would be a pretty easy costume to make. If you didn’t already know, Josh and I like to do things that more unique. Having Jasper be a pumpkin would have been cute but not really our style.
Josh found this awesome brown fuzzy fabric at Hobby Lobby. We got the rope and cross there too. This is monk costume 2.0 as the first one wouldn’t go over his shoulders. I drew a “pattern” onto paper and then just started sewing. The hood was my crowning achievement. Someone that can really sew could have done a way better job but I was happy with how it turned out.
Jasper only made it over to my parents for a little trick or treating. He’s still working on his 12 month molars and was kind of crabby. He went to bed early so Josh and I snuggled on the couch watching movies. It was fun to get him dressed up even for a short time. The wheels are already turning thinking about what he should be next year.

best costume ever.
He belongs in a Final Fantasy Game.
